Apparently that new wii sku is called the wii Play 'N Learn bundle. Based upon the name, I'm assuming it's just the standard wii package but with Big Brain Academy included as well. Any one have any other ideas?

hmm. That would be stupid. I think a Zapper + Link's game + Wii Sports for $259 would be a much better deal and system seller.

Yeah that wouldn't be a bad deal, but since the zapper and link's game are $20 it will probably sell well on its own like wii play.  Big Brain Academy is more like wii sports anyone can get into it, and isn't that great of a seller.

A new colour with Wii Sports, Play, and Brain Academy would be my guess with an extra controller.

If it's the same price, I say it is just BBA added with Wii Sports still being in there. I highly doubt they would take that out as it truely is part of the system, it is far better than a manual for teaching the Wiimote. An outside chance says Wii Play included but I think the word Play in the name is a red herring.

If the price goes up than maybe an extra controller, but otherwise they wouldn't cut that much profit out of there soon to be sold out console. Packaging in games that aren't moving will get people into new franchises they might not have tried. I am sure Nintendo has about 2 million coppies of BBA sitting around due to is slower than portable sales. Extra controller are profit items that people are snapping up already.



Final* Word on Game Delays:

The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.

Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.

Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

I think it would be Wii Play and BBA: Wii Degree along with the Wii, Remote, and Nunchuck for the same price which would be a pretty amazing deal.

Despite what people say about it, BBA: Wii Degree is actually a pretty good just overpriced.

Definitely sounds like they'll add Wii Play and BBA to the existing bundle with Wii Sports. I don't think they'll have a color change though.

Unrelated: my 6 year old loves video games. She's pretty good at pretty much any E rated DS game (Kirby is her favorite), and she got a V-tech V-Smile system a while back (I consider it the 4th great system of this generation: PS3, XBox 360, Wii, and V-Smile). With a microphone, stylus, and the Wii remote, Nintendo has the tools in place to make educational and fun games for children. Then I can spend all day drinking beer knowing my baby is in safe hands.
