We see some collector's edition of games coming out and one of the perks is the soundtrack to said game. You can even sometimes buy the soundtrack itself if I'm not mistaken.
Anyway, that's neither here nor there. Here's my question. How come the console makers haven't added a feature for you to be able to listen to a game CD as a soundtrack? All of the songs are on the disc....and the disc plays in the console. How come you can't just set it to play music for you? You still couldn't rip the music because it's a game disc, and you couldn't even use the disc in other devices because of it's format.
That MS thread got me thinking about this...I wish I could just pop my LBP BR-D in and just set it to play the music beginning to end. Why can't I do this yet???
