I will be taking a wait and see approach with this title and deservingly so after the horror that was Magna Carta on the PS2.

Either way just like IU and TLR I will undoubtedly grab it when it hits sub $30 price range.

Prices are known to drop fast on jrpgs on 360 and this will be no exception.

eternal sonata, lost odyssey,blue dragon,star ocean,last remnant,tales of vesperia,all these games prices didnt drop as fast as ppl think they did. i think the price on this game wont drop for at least 6months to get its sales, then maybe drop to $30 - $40 range. i always get my jrpg's on launch day, will do the same with ROF in early 2010.

this games doesn't look that great, but then again neither does ff13...they both look like they play like ff12 and both are just too darn bright and shining, whats up with that

FFXIII follows the basic JRPG template, there is nothing wrong with that.  There are plenty of advancements in the genre.  The battle system is a revamped version of the ATB battle system.  Also, you seem to be a fan of games with various shades of one color.  FFXIII looks fantastic.

I got TLR in December and it was already down to $40.

I also got IU for $10 at Bestbuy in February.

I think the only ones I paid full price for so far were LO and ToV. LO I also picked up on launch day and was the reason I bought my 360.

@euphoria14, infinite undiscovery price drop was after being out for 6 months.
last remnant true on price, but not everywhere.
all i am saying is most of the jrpg's dont drop as quickly as ppl think, but some do no question about that.

I like price drops though, they are a wonderful thing.
