I agree with him ^^^^ they have only had one review so far and that's from Official Nintendo magazine :). 94%

If the controls on the GC games are almost as good as the controls on the Wii game, I'd rate it like this:

Review Score - 9.8

Presentation - 9.5
Gameplay - 9.5
Value - 10.0

They did mention ace motion controls so no doubt that applies to all 3 prime games.

If this package doesn't sell more than 1.5 million Lifetime then the gaming public is just stupid!!! Metroid Prime 3 sold about 1.5 million and this is Prime 3, 2 and 1 for the same price that Prime 3 was when it came out!

I don't see a reason for the owners of MP3 to pay 50 bucks again for a game they already own. And it won't mean the public is stupid, how many great games sell little amounts?

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

I'm going to be optimistic and say 3 million lifetime sales. It all depends if Nintendo is really going to get behind it with advertising. If they do, I think the sales could surprise some people.

That's just being delusional. Not even the first one sold that much and then the series lost popularity. The ones that are hardcore fans of the series already have all three games most probably. It's impossible it can outsell it's own fanbase. 1 million IMO is not possible.

Delusional? I prefer to say I have a dream!

Ok, so it's unlikely, but I do believe it's possible with the right marketing campaign. The thing is that the Gamecube had the lowest install base, so most gamers probably don't even realize who amazing Metroid Prime was. Then when a game comes out which is the third in a trilogy (MP3) it's always going to be harder to score big sales with people who don't know the franchise. Hence, with the right push, the trilogy could, feasibly, maybe, possibly be a huge hit. It certainly has the quality factor.

@JUG: That's why it's only a dream. This game will mostly sell to collectors who are big fans of Metroid, or to those who missed the 3rd game and heard this announcement before buying it. But I doubt many people will buy the same games all over again, look at NPC Pikmin, supposedly has a big fanbase but not many were eager to buy it again. And it's not like Metroid Prime will become a cultural phenomenom all of a sudden if the 3rd game isn't even 2 years old yet and sales are almost negligible at this point. Not even with all the ads in the World, since the games have been available for a long time and the ones who wanted them already probably have them.

It's not even supposed to be a big seller, as it wasn't even mentioned at E3 or at their reports. It's just an extra incentive for those who wanted the NPC series (which are a small minority) and to justify their existance. We know for a fact no NPC was even remotely big in the US, save for Mario Tennis, but Mario is Mario and even then it sold very poorly for a Mario Sports game.

Less than 500k LT.

It will definitely hit 500k, but not a million.

First month: 100k
End of year: 400k
Lifetime: 800k

Since this may be the best deal ever I really want it to sell more than a million. But some ads are needed for that to happen and I hope Nintendo understands that.

125k first month, maybe 700k lifetime.
