Good point Munkeh, MAG deserves to be in the 2009 lineup til proven false. But off the record, do you believe in your heart (lol) that MAG will make it out in 2009?

Not really, and I think it will flop anyway. I don't see the point in making an online only game in a world with Modern Warfare 2 and Uncharted 2 (to name just a few) that offer you great offline and online experiences, and even with 256 players, is it really worth full price for just online?

Right, it will flop. The pathetically low interest for MAG among Sony fans is apalling in my opinion. Plus the competition from other MP like MW2 &  Uncharted 2 as u say. Seems they are forced to release in Q1 2010, if not later. Im even afraid the game will be scrapped, but that risk is small isnt it?

Yes, it's well worth $60 in my opinion, because a good online is the best value you can get, people spend hundreds of quality hours on the online multiplayers they really like. Plus Id imagine maintenance of servers, updates, balancing, bug fixing and stuff is harder for a 256 player game.

I mean 256 players. It's certainly something I value a lot compared to 8, 16 or even 64 players.

Also, don´t forget their bitch move when they filed a suit against the Brutal Legend developers.

Valve love, and it does have some offline component and people seem to love co-op

The game won't be scrapped, but I kind of what a so-what feeling after they showed it, it just looked a bit average in that demo at E3, especially after how great Uncharted 2 looked just before it.

@ Football Fan - MW2 is not going to hit £30 for a long time.

On topic, that Q1 2010 list is ridiculously good, so some of them will be pushed back to Q2 2010 in a domino effect. I'm thinking maybe Dante's Inferno will either be pushed back or will release really early next year in order to avoid God of War, Heavy Rain might get pushed back in order to get the attention it craves, but I think GT5 is coming this year. It doesn't need to be scared of anything.

Ok now even if you don't like it COD:MW is a popular brand, deal with it. This game will be played so much, don't be hating.

Dante's Inferno has a set date already, it's a early January release. So well before GoW thankfully.

One of Heavy Rain and Alan Wake will certainly be pushed back.

Same with Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2. I'd guess LP2 in Feb, Dead Rising 2 in Q2 (even Dark Void is a Capcom game right? No way all three will come out in Q1)

Splinter Cell Conviction could very well be delayed.

And GT5, yes it really should come in Dec this year. It seems impossible to have FF13, GT5 and God of War 3 in the same quarter outside the Holidays.

No way MS will let alan wake, splinter cell and mass effect compete with each other

But war... war never changes
