Thank you prosugno.
seems unusual to have only 1 DS title in the German top 10, although looking again i see FIFA and Halo take up 6 of the top 10 themselves (new releases)so maybe it's not strange.

Thanks for the charts, prosugno360.

It's interesting that Halo didn't top Spanish chart, especially becouse it's individual format chart. In UK Halo 3 beat Fifa's all format's sales but in Spain it couldn't even manage to beat PS2 only version. But maybe if regular, Legendary and Limited version were counted together it would be on first place?
Fifa PS3 also easily beat Fifa Xbox360 (3rd position to 10th), even if there are more Xbox consoles than PS3 in Spain (acording to vgchartz number). Im pretty sure than most Xbox owners were busy buying Halo 3 this week but nevertheless the distance between those version is surprising.

HS is down from first position to seventh, it's not good but there are a lot of new positions on the list, so I think it's not that bad either. Unfortunately there are no numbers.

Interesting charts, regarding Italian hardware sales, XBox 360 sales seem to be overtracked the most by VGchartz (about 20K, thus about 10 weeks worth of sales!) .

Severely undertracked seems to be the Playstation 2. Well over 200K worth of sales difference at the time!

PS3 vs 360 sales

Also according to various websites, the PS3 has already sold over 250K in Spain. So maybe VGchartz is undertracking the PS3 in Spain by about 70K! Considering how well PS2 and PS3 software is performing in Spain I believe this may well be the case.

I think it's also interesting to note that the 2 millionth PS2 has recently been sold for the Benelux in Amsterdam:

So I think the PS2 (and PS3) figures for "Other Europe" is off quite a bit, as VGChartz states about 3 million PS2 sales in total.

If not PS2 sales in the Benelux is twice that of Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Ireland, Czeck Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, Ukraine, etc, etc, all combined!

@ Neos

Is this not a sales discussion forum?

PS3 vs 360 sales

It would be interesting to know why the 360 is so impopular in Spain. In Japan we can at least blame the 360's western-centric software, but what's going on in southern europe?

If you actually read the 250,000 in spain article where these guys are getting their number from you'd see it was a Sony exec talking about how many PS3's they've shipped to spain, and how many they plan to ship over X-mas.

(Well 40 gig article that has one statement at the end.)
