Forums - Sony Discussion - Why ps3 failed

I think PS3 failed because the LEDs were red on the controllers.

I LOVE ICELAND!

My launch PS3 has failed to fail, despite the oppressive heat wave we're having lately, and my not having AC.

Does that count?

America is racist again confirmed?

ps America is not the world ¬_¬

America may not be the world, but if your sales are prodominantly from Americans, you have a strong chance of winning the war.

Colour, huh? That's an interesting take.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

For me it comes down to this. PS3 would have been 2nd place by now had it matched $$ to 360.

This is assuming all other things remain constant.

However, that would have also entailed the very plausible bankruptcy of Sony. Thus, things didn't happen that way.

All of Sony's other plans were ok. Game deployments are not horrible and generally match 360 equally. The online was free and therefore added value for the fact it was missing items live has. I would bet a great % of 360 adopters would have purchased a PS3 had the PS3 matched the pricing of the 360Pro model.

As it is, 360 offers the same as the PS3 in every area except bluray, and that is surpassed by the fact that everyone's friends have 360's and a far lower price for the most desirable model.

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Consoles owned: Game Cube, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, PSP, PS1, PS2, PS3.

My prediction: NATAL WILL NOT help 360 sales. Maybe a 50-100k boost week 1, then a 30-70 k boost week 2, and back to the norm again after 3-5 weeks.

It failed?

Hmmmm...

4 ≈ One

Piano black televisions, receivers, tv stands, speakers, Blu-ray players, etc disagree with you.

The PS3 failed because it is not a toy.

Typical amateurs responce.

No, it's the response of a god. Don't you remember theprof00's infamous "The Wii is a toy" thread? Guess what, the Wii is winning while the not-toy PS3 is losing.

Also, did you figure by now that Earthworm Jim was superior on the Mega Drive?

you shouldn't take things so seriously
