Same could be said of FF, though 5 million is not bad, on a 100 million console, thats not that great.
You also have to consider that each FF has sold less and less.
When FF comes out, its safe to say there will be 10+ ps3 sold, now if its at 10 mil, end of 08, then if it sold mil copies, it would be at a 10% attachment rate, whichis really good. Another mil 20%, very rare, but im sure it can do it, 3 million 30% few games in history have done that (halo, mario, etc)
In all im guessing FF sales wil be between 2-4 million, which shoud b enough to stay exclusive, but you never know how much profit will be gained , and if SE wants more
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B
