Its not going to work, Activision can and will reclaim that site at the time of their choosing. They won't give in to blackmail because it simply encourages more of it.

The owner of that site can actually be charged with a crime and be forced to hand over the domain name to Activision. It's a trademark violation.

Not as though they need to do so since they already have a web site up for the game.
