It's a legitimate question, the core of the issue being, is the PS3's survival riding simply on the exclusivity of these titles? The 360, and to a lesser degree the Wii, already have a strong library of games, while the PS3 keeps relying on future releases to justify its purchase. How many posts have you read by Sony fanboys going on about how awesome MSG4 or FF13 are going to be, while their sigs show them playing some mediocre filler title like Motorstorm or Lair. I don't expect either games to go multiplatform, but if they did, it wouldn't leave much of a reason for anyone to buy a PS3 over a 360, would it?

You still don't get it do you. Its like saying Gran Turismo 5 is coming to the 360. But one thing you should know as a Sony user and its sad if you don't know it,but Sony owns the GT license. Mario is owned by Nintendo.

MGS4 isn't owned by Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft. Its owned by Konami.

Well, when the evidence related to the MGS4 and FFXIII rumors are credible,(Konami, S-E) and not some website forums saying "some source dude from MS said their bying MGS4 and FFXIII but I can't tell you his name cuz it ain't final." Just believing that makes you a fool.
