I've long been a fan of the show since I caught a season two episode one time.  I immediately ran out and bought season 1 and 2 on dvd.  As it went on I've bought them all.  The way it ended was brilliant, in that it changed how I thought about every character, espescially Mackie.  All in all brilliant show, anyone else?

Oh man, this and entourage are my favorite shows ever. If I can figure out how to do spoiler tags, I'd love to have a conversation about your thoughts about the final act, specifically the finale and Dutch's story arc throughout the last season. Holy fuck this show is amazing.

I hate that show because it's incredibly difficult to sympathize with any of the main characters. They just dont seem...real to me.

as far as dutch goes, i was surprised they let the whole thing where the computer he had may have had child porn cus of some investigation he was doing in season 3

i thought for sure that would come back

Yes, I love The Shield, sadly though, I have not watched the last 2 seasons due to my DVR screwing up and the fact that I hate to watch episodes out of order, so I still need to see how it ends! (I didn't read any posts in this thread for fear of spoilers, and prob. won't read any replies either)
