Uncharted like Gears? I wouldn't put them in the same genre.

Halo ODST might be a good expansion game (not impressive looking though) but as I said, IMO overall 360's exclusives lineup is not as big as PS3's. Nothing else.

Uncharted 2 is like Gears.  You have multiplayer online, shooting and a cover system.  Of course, Uncharted has more Tomb Raider-type action, while Gears is more action like an FPS.

the reason these "20-- is the year of the ps3" threads always gets refuted is due to sales. Sales never really dominate over the other consoles, but truly they DO release the best games every year.

While Sony was hyping and you were waiting, I've enjoyed so much 360 gaming since 2005 and it got better every year. And I don't care about exclusives...just enjoyable games.

I don't think the PS3 has offered as much since its release in 2006.

Most of the games you listed are multiplatform and the PS3 has a great lineup.  Just because there is a few more games on the 360 means nothing.  Apparently your console only offers games, since you listed nothing else.  I don't need to wait for good games, I'm playing them while you are waiting for your rebuilt console to return. I could go on and on.  Thanks for the laugh.

And yes, it was a rhetorical question

There will be no year of the PS3.

Time to face facts, the generation is almost over and Sony has dug too deep of a hole to lift the PS3 out of last place.

'best' is subjective.

Sales are about the only objective measure of how a game performs. Since a lot of the PS3 exclusive threads aren't about critical acclaim as much as market impact, sales are very relevant to them.
