FFXIII will boost PS3 than DQIX to DS as a lot of people not has PS3. LTD might be around 2.2 - 2.5 million depends on legs.

well considering the install base at release and the fact dragon quest 9 sold so well in its opening week im predicting over 1 million opening week, also it depends if its bundled as well then maybe it will be higher, also this may be the firstgame to show legs like monster hunter 2g for the ps3 which will be good news

metal gear was never a multimillion seller in Japan so why compare with that. I'm not saying that FFXIII will be suuuuuuuper big either but I wouldn't worry by comparing it with that list.

In fact for me, they're more on the positive side as they sold well as close to their ps2 counterparts, for a PS3 console that is not selling well as you said...

Famitsu have MGS4 at around 730k with Best version doing very well.

Should sell around 2 million, perhaps slightly less, in Japan. It won't do 5 times MGS4's sales, but when all is said and done, it will be around triple.

Hmm, I can see FFXIII moving 1.2-1.3 million first week in Japan and probably around 2.5 lifetime.
