They havent put ps1 games on the ps store since castlevania.

My understanding is that it's difficult to emulate the PS2's graphic synthesizer. That is the chip that was removed for the 40gb. It's far more difficult to emulate the functions of this chip than the Emotion Engine, which was removed for the 80gb.

No it gets negative hype because of PS fanboys like yourself. The ones that swallow every PR line Sony gives them. The ones that bagged on the 360's backward compatiblity but now see nothing wrong with no PS2 backward compatiblity in the 40GB PS3. The ones that thought motion controls were gimmicky, until the Sixaxis received a limited form of it. The ones that thought rumble was last gen, until the Dual Shock 3 was announced. If fanboys like yourself actually got Sony's hand out your rectums long enough to stop being puppets and have an independent thought, you wouldn't have to look like hypocrites with each revisionist Sony PR announcement.

Thanks for following up Darc Requiem's statement with that wonderfully trollish and blatant Nintendo Fanboy follow up which supports the views of the very person Darc Requiem was arguing against in the first place, DarthDevidem. Did it ever occur to you that maybe you make people look bad and weaken their arguments when you come rushing in behind them (quoting them no less) with your own intellectual contribution of "That's right! Sony is gay, lololololol!"

Good to know, but I've moved my PSone games over to PSP emulation. It's my PS2 that I really need to be able to play. I know my situation isn't going to be the same as everyone else's, but I simply don't have room for anymore systems in my apartment. If/when I buy another one, something is going to have to go...
