No i don't think its defective i think your shaking it around too much. Thats what knocks it off course and i have noticed that too. When playing the Showdown it happens alot simply bcoz your moving it so much and all over the place.

Whoever has sync problems its because of other light sources. You have to turn off the auto sync so it won't reset to other positions.

I had my first noticable out of synch last night on duel. I've never noticed it happen on any game in over a weeks worth of play.

Has anybody completed the showdown yet? I keep getting whooped on level 19.

I'm starting to think swordplay is the best fighter this gen.

Archery is amazing! on thursday night I completed the all of the secret targets and damn some of them are hard to get!

The sword fighting is amazing as well, although it become stupidly hard once you get to the reverse volcano.

The replay value in this game is just absolutley stupid, there are 12 games and games within those games and in most part they are very interesting.

If there is a game to bridge the casual and the core, this is it.

@Ramparter - I don't understand what you mean about other light sources making it out of synch, can you elaborate please?

For what i can tell, swordplay makes it auto of sync because of the changing stances.

 

Attack, defense, attack, defense. Every time you hold B the sword moves a little. Of course it loses track sometime.

I didn't mention this but mktb reminded me about Table Tennis when you quickly go from backhand to forehand shots it can go weird and not register.
Thats happened to me frequently but only noticable on high difficulties when the computer opponent sets up that shot. Against mates it hasn't been a problem for some reason.

I completely agree with you. just bought it last night and played some bowling this afternoon and it's very different from wiisports. you control the ball much more precisely. It's incredible. May be it's because i sucked at wiibowling (around 160-180 on a regular game) but i find the controls much more accurate and spinning much easier. It really reflects the hands.

but i'm slightly disappointed by swordfighting. the duel is just wagglefest. The only fun part is the side by side competition (which is really fun btw).

 

great game overall. much better than wiisports, more fun, more depth, more variety. Just a better game.
