As lame as the title above sounds =P, yes I have now gotten myself a PS3. Thanks to my lil bro, we found a refurbished, re-certified 80 gig PS3 at Newegg.com for only $279. Realizing that this may be a good opportunity to snag one, I decided to grab one rather than wait for an official price-cut. Foolish? Perhaps. But I at least got one.

Now I need some help in getting some games. Unlike the legendary PS2, I can't seem to find a game that I would play besides MGS4 and FFXIII. So I need you guys to help me. I know this system gots some good games, just need you all to help open my eyes. You can look at my profile for help, but one hint is that I have a hard time appreciating shooters. My bro would love to play some tho, so any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks for your time and let the game listing commence!

Nice hopefully it doesn't die on you quickly since it's refurb

now for games I suggest the following

*uncharted
*Kz2
*Valkyria
*Ratchet and clank
*infamous
*Motorstorm pacific rift
*LBP

This shud do for now and I highly recommend u pick up uncharted and valkyria ASAP.....these are very good game that u shud experience and Uncharted 2 is comming soon so this should help you get into this franchise.

Ohh and since u live in U.S I suggest u check out demon souls....it's a RPG and have been hearing lots of positive reviews for it.

Buy METAL GEAR SOLID 4, Uncharted, and even though I've yet to play it, Valkyria Chronicles since everyone loves it.

Valkyria Chronicles is all you need as far as exclusives go...

LBP, Uncharted, HS, MotorStorm 2, GT5, Dark Kingdom, and Folklore are all fine PS3 exclusives aswell.

Prince of Persia, Assassins Creed 1, Armored Core: For Answer, SoulCalibur IV, and Mirrors Edge are great games to, there not exclusive but there great games none-the-less.

Check out heavenly sword if you can get it cheaply. It may be short but it's really a great game. Other games to check out are MGS4, valkyria chronicles, uncharted, ratchet and clank, motorstorm 2, killzone 2, and infamous...and uncharted 2 when it comes out this october!
