God of War is like Ninja Blade. Probably no replay value and no online. I can skip.

well as long as Sony has no answer to Halo and Gears, MS won't have to answer to GOW3.
yeh i know it's stupid logic.

MS has an aswer to GOW3 -> NG 2 creator Itagaky and many Team Ninja staff are making a new IP exclusive to 360.
I think it will rock because I don`t want a perfect GOW 3 clone,I want an action game as fresh as NG 1 was on xbox 1.
@Squilliam -> Forza 3 is a system seller and exclusive to 360,a direct competitor of GT5. It will sell big,Gears or Fable stile.
So please keep it in "genre defining exclusives for Microsoft".
Squilliam said: In my opinion the only exclusives which require answers are the ones which define their respective genres. Its a catch 22 because genre defining games cannot be answered easily by other games as they rise above almost every game. You can tell a genre defining game because it doesn't matter when its released, the market will respond to it and it will sell. It also doesn't matter what other games are released the same day, week, month, or even holiday season because the genre defining game will sell. It must also sell enough copies to warrant enough interest in someone copying so over 2M is usually the mark I use. So whats the difference between a genre defining exclusive game and a regular exclusive? A genre defining game sells comparably with the big selling games in its genre or its the highest selling game. Im talking market impact rather than any subjective notion that one game is 'better' than another. If say for instance hack n slash games rarely sell over 2M and the game tops the genre at 3M its a genre defining game. However if say an exclusive shooter sells 2M copies and other shooters sell over 5M copies its not genre defining. You cannot have multi-plat games selling significantly more than an exclusive and call it genre defining, because you could easily say that someone deprived of that exclusive would have the chance to get a more popular alternative. Not about the game, about the Japan studio -> Tokyo Knights, including Itagaky and many staff from Team Ninja.
In an interview,Itagaky said that if he made Bayonetta,he wold be called an idiot. So he is making something different.
Also,he said he took everything to the max in Ninja Gaiden 2. So a new IP will be great.
He sais he is 360 exclusive because he has many friens from MS from the NG days...everyone agrees.
LoL @ Squilliam... BTW,Forza is a direct competitor to GT...so make no mistake

Thanks! Looks promissing, I will keep my eyes on it for sure.
@ Stan: Its not a competitor until it has proven market impact. Once it sells more than 1M in the first week I'll consider it a contender and I favour Forza over GT but I still know for sure which is currently the bigger series.
Tease.
