If they need more time with MAG, they shoulod take more time with MAG; better that than to have the game be released in a rushed, incomplete state. Not being afraid to delay a game that needs it is a good thing in a general sense, and it should be encouraged. Delays are annoying, but they usually turn out to be well worth it.

Mag is the FPS I have the greatest hopes for in terms of market impact for Sony. Its litterally an experience offered nowhere else and it has the potential to be a genre defining exclusive and not just a regular exclusive. It deserves the time to be tweaked and honed because the game concept deserves it and the 256 player model requires it.

I always expected 2010 in this game, its simply a concept which requires a LOT of work to get right. The fact that Sony is delaying the game makes me think that its something they truely believe in because they cannot afford waste money at this point especially with heavy losses breathing down their necks. If they think its worth the wait then at this point it probably is.

This game doesn't deserve comparisons with Call of Duty or Halo and anyone making such comparisons cannot see the woods for the trees. Its a game which promises to offer an experience unique and seperate from those two titans of the FPS world. Personally im not buying the game and I hate the idea of playing it, but that doesn't stop me from being objective about it.

MAG isnt released this year because of CoDMW2, to much competition. It wouldnt sell that much. Heavy Rain is coming out next year because theres way to many good games coming out this year, which is way to much competition. GT5 anad Uncharted 2 are coming this year forsure

I believe Sony want this to be just right (as with all their other exclusives) but after the ghostbusters fiasco we can't ignore that this might be another waste of money.

What fiasco? I got the PS3 version of the game. Besides it wasn't paid for by them, it was created by another developer with a different publisher.
