No first PS2 must stop selling and then they will bring ps2 BC into PS3 :)
But i think there's only a few more months left before official 10 year plans ends but they will probably keep it longer.

its still selling in the same league as Ps3 and 360 so probably not any time soon

Never, remember Master System is still in production in many countries. Sony just announced an 5 years plan for PS2 in Brazil.

That should be about the time Sony gaming is getting ready to fold. But even then, Sony will never acknowledge the PS3 for the tragedy that it is. Sad.
the PS2 is sonys cash cow. if they stop makeing the PS2 sony would
lose even more money.so whne people stop buying the PS2
then they will stop makeing it.
the PS2 still out sells the PS3 in the stores near me.
