Wow, this could really be huge news if true...I wonder how much Sony paid for this?  

Supposeably this is straight out of the Official Xbox Magazine....but why would they print something that is seen as a benefit to their competitor? 

To give forewarning to their fans perhaps?

With a price drop and this announcement all in one day, Sony seems to be fully on the offensive.

so if this is true sony will have an exclusive grand theft auto in what late 2009 or 2010, wow, so that's when the ps3 domination begins

I was sure this was going to happen after R* said that L.A Noire and a new I.P where PS3 exclusive it was just time until GTAV was PS3 exclusive.

But seriously this could be hugh. But im willing to bet that Rockstar will wait and see how the sales of GTA4 does on both the 360 and the PS3. I mean just look at the sales of Madden. EA would have been crazy to make it a PS3 exclusive considering how well it sold on the 360

AWESOME. I KNEW somebody was eventually going to say "screw this dvd crap, I want a 50 gig disk". Makes sense that choice would be made while looking at a signed blank check from Sony, though, I must say. Looks like everybody CAN play the "throw money around" game.

I would imagine Rockstar is more than set just from however much money sony paid them for the exclusive, I don't think they'll be hurting for cash with that huge bribe they just got paid, and if they already signed a full exclusivity contract, then it'll be about as multiplatform as Halo 3.

Could it be that the 360 version was holding up the developemnt proccess??? maybe they couldnt figure out how to fit all that stuff on a dvd 9 in such a short time???? im asking a question by the way
