So which one is the better?

I think it`s sad Tetsuya Takahashi could not finish the Xenogears series because he left Square-Enix and then

had to make a new universe.

Both games have they`re charm, but I can`t tell which one that is better even after 11 years.

Maybe you can help me?

never played zenosaga, but xenogears was one of the best PS1 RPG's, so xenogears is probably better, unless xenosaga changes my mind when i finally play it.

I just completed Xenosaga Episode 3, i enjoyed it more than Xenogears. Episode 3 is way better than Episode 1 & 2. But Xenogears had a better story though.

Hmm. I find Xenosaga Episode 1 more exiting. I even cried at the end because it was over for about two years.
No problem showing feelings here....?

Did you complete episode 3? The ending was damn emotional.

Well..... there's gameplay. But it is very cutscene heavy.

Its not MGS4 cutscene heavy.

I would say xenogears, however I have been taking my time with episode 3. I like xenogears story so much better for being concise and understandable. Personally I would love to see a direct remake(by that I mean, they dont mess it up) of xenogears.

I'm gonna have to go with Xenogears on that one. But, I'd still say Xenosaga Episode 1 was great, while Episode 3 was just good.  Episode 2 is the worst in the series, so be aware if you're planning on playing all three Xenosaga games.

I sure did, and the ending is awesome. But the worst with Xenosaga is Shion. She`s often a self-centered w**** with a poor and boring character in my opinion.

Favourites are: Kos-Mos, Virgil, Ziggy, Little Master and Wilhelm.
