Mass Effect with pointer controls would be great.

And Oblivion with motion plus...

I will give Godfather credit for having great motion/fighting controls but Scarface is what innovated as far as 3rd person camera control is concerned. Godfather used the D-pad to control the camera. Scarface used IR...

Also, there is no way that Fight Night would improve with motion. Personally if I were making a Fight Night for Wii I would use button presses with motion finishers like NMH only with more buttons than just A coming into play...

Finally, I just made a thread detailing all of the genres that improve with motion/IR last week and the only ones I came with that don't are Fighting games, Platformers, Action/Adventure, Turn-Based J-RPGs, and Simulation Racing.  Everything else has been shown to be better with motion or IR in some way IMO.

The only way Natal or PSWand will take off this gen is if they lauch a huge game like Halo 4 or Final Fantasy XIV or something with exclusive motion/camera/IR controls...  Otherwise look for pack-ins of motion controllers with pretty much all next-gen consoles..

So, with Action games and Turn Based JRPGs motion doesn't matter. If that's true then, it's the same with the other kind JRPGs or just RPGs in general.

The pointer function can help Turn-Based JRPG a whole lot just like the mouse help navigate thru windows menus.  Being able to select the enemy you want to attack just by pointing  or circle a group of enemies would great and easy instead of going thru a rotation with the d-pad or analog sticks.  Imagine just using your keyboard and no mouse to navigate your computer.

Motion can be fun with different attacks and magic spells.

Sure, but it works just as well with a d-pad.

Yes but this is 2009 going on 2010 and you're telling me its not time for a change?  I've been playing games for 20 years now and I need a change.  I stop playing JRPGs after FFX because nothing new was being made, everything is a re-run.  Because of the wiimote i started playing more games that i would never play like Golf, Tennis, FPS, GTA style games(Godfather, Scarface).  I only played cinema games like SH, RE, MGS and Fatal Frame.  I stop playing JRPGs after FFX.

I'd be pretty upset at life if I stopped playing JRPGs after FFX.

None id rather they be done with natal and a controller type thing. The wii mote doesnt work very well for my style of play.

I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!

Every game could benefit from the Wiimote. Pointing and clicking make life easy.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

MGS4 - Hell no
GTA4 - I just don't see it.
Dead Space - It's pretty clear what EA wanted to do with dead space on the Wii
Fight Night - Me no like... after playing Wii Sports and then the fight night... no... I like fight night just the way it is.
RE5 - I prefer it the way it is. I tried RE4 on Wii... it's just not fun for me...

Give Scarface on Wii a rent and tell me the Wii remote doesn't have potential for TPS. The game isn't anything that special. Just a PS2 port, but it controls really well.

Wow really.  Metroid has really nice controls.  It isn't as good as later games like MoH:H2 or The Conduit but it is about as good as IR controls get on the Wii.

Get ready though because MS and Sony will be rolling out motion/camera/IR controls next gen for sure.  They will have them out this gen but they will be packed-in next gen...  I fully expect Halo 4 and Killzone 3 to control like Metroid Prime 3...
