Tactics games are usually pretty fun. But it does look kind of sterile. Space combat may not be a very good setting for this genre.

God I really loved R-type and Gargoyle's Quest on my old GB; they were bundled with the console back then... Oh the memories... *slaps the shiny-happy looking Wii*

It looks interesting. I like Tactics games, and this looks familliar. Why are the R-types fighting themself instead of the Bydo? Graphics aren't amazing though, it looks like it could be done on the DS. Never could stand in the originals how you'd have to die to advance the levels. R-type GB was one of my most loathed games Routsounman.

I was still thinking of New Super Mario Bros, just got the date wrong

It's really cool to see all the different models and their "moves" on the field, but I have a feeling the novelty would wear off and the game would become incredibly boring after 15 minutes. And I'm all for turn-based strategy.

P.S. Why does every developer seem to think that TBS games belong purely on handhelds?
