Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wii Sports Resort IGN UK Review

itt some wii owners ignore a bunch of reviews from review sites and say they are stupid until a review comes out that gives it a half decent score.

Listen, it's a collection of mini-games, I'll buy it for that, but this isn't a high quality game, it's a cash in tech demo.

So you've played it? How was it? Meaning the M+....

I dont understand how it doesn't get 10 for lasting appeal.

It will be played for years just like Wii Sports has been.

I don't understand it for a lot of games, especially when they say that there's multiplayer, unlockables and then BAM! 6.0!

Eurogamer reviewed it too, it's a 7: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/wii-sports-resort-review

I'm not going to take a Eurogamer review seriously again after they only gave The Conduit 5/10. Anything less than 7 is a travesty.

Eurogamer in general, from what I recall, are kind of harsh anyways.

Of course, he's played it. He must have done otherwise he wouldn't have an opinion about the thing.

To judge a game based on how it appears would be stupid and ignorant. It's fine to say it might look like it's poor or a tech demo, but to say it actually is, well, there's just no way.

It never happens on the internet and besides human beings never say anything without being informed first.

Yes.

www.spacemag.org - contribute your stuff... satire, comics, ideas, debate, stupidy stupid etc.

Wow, that is a good score!
The reviews so far + the tv commercials are tempting me to buy it first day.

Makes you wonder wth IGN AU was thinking....

Site hits, or alternatively, they weren't.

A fantastic score, well done WSR

There is a lot of content packed in there, for sure. This reinforces my already sound belief in the game's polish, however.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Or they just have a different opinion.

The bias in Wii owners on who is a good reviewer or not is amazing.  Usually the good reviews are thes who give high scores it seems, based on the latest game release only, of course?

Look at yourselves, IGN AU give the game a 6.5 which is one opinion, then IGN UK give an 8.9 and this one opinion is suddenly the trump card which overwrites IGN AUs opinion with claims "WTH IGN AU was thinking?" That clearly makes sense.

If Eurogamer gave a 7/10 then it seems IGN AU was more in line with the general scores so far.

Quote for truth, my friend!!

I really don't get the trend. They actually like to play bad games... it's so weird. And weirder thing is that they say it's good anyway.

In the Water Warfare review the same thing happened. Bias Nintentards, for sure...
