does anyone agree that the treatment of european consumers has been absolutely discraceful compared to the us and japan by sony. Sony came out at 630 euro which is around 800 dollars in Ireland. As far as i know ( and stand to be corrected) the emotion chip was also stripped which meant that there is no backward compatibility for games here. I hate to sound like a basher or anything because i hope sony can get it's act together but it will take more than this to make up for it.


Sony were once the darling in europe and could do no wrong. But now it is slugging it out with the other two consoles. Again there is still time but some serious changes will have to be made. It is still seriously more expensive than a 360 premium and not as many games and the wii is cleaning up.

The love affair is OVER at the moment, but can sony start to be smart again and hungry rather than being overcocky and sloppy. Open to disagreements with any facts or sentiments and interested in other opinioins.

It is more than $600, the difference is that in the UK game systems are usually more expensive than in the US.

Leo-J...stop crying.  You wrote your headline in all caps with exclamation points.  You surely thought the information you had was the biggest pwn of the year and you wanted to gloat.  You created, therefore, a troll thread.  Why are you surprised that everyone jumped down your throat?  Be a man, eat crow, and stop complaining about some sort of anti-sony bias on this site.  Judging from sales that anti-Sony bias is a worldwide phenomenon.  Now be peacable, take your lumps, laugh at about it, and try harder next time (hopefully without the caps and exclamation points).
