Anyone think of a game for PSP that might outsell Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII? GTA (whichever was the better selling)?

p.s. Wii sports online would be incredible, that's what Wii sports 2 should be, Tennis/Bowling/Boxing plus two other sports (lose golf/baseball)

If I play Wii Sports alone I usually just play Golf.  It is pretty fun and has the best graphics.  I agree that the Wii Sports 2 with online would be very fun.  I say keep all of the sports, add online, improve the graphics, allow the use of SD cards so that people may import music, and improve the controls when possible (boxing is the worst).  And yeah, include this is the newer Wii model with updates or new colors or whatever.  And also sell is seperately.  I am not sure the need to still sell Wii Sports 1.  Maybe continue to sell it in Japan as a budget title until the supply is sold out.  I would pay $50 for Wii Sports 2 in a heart beat.

About PSP games, that is a joke.  They will never get far unless Sony starts bundling a big PSP hit with all new PSPs.

currently playing: Desktop Tower Defense (PC), Puzzle Quest (DS), Trauma Center New Blood (Wii), Guitar Hero III (Wii), Ghost Squad (Wii), Actraiser (SNES), Donkey Kong County (SNES), The Legend of Zelda (NES), Kirby's Adventure (NES)

will play next: Paper Mario (N64), Golden Axe II (Sega), NiGHTS (Wii)

boxing the worst?, i think it's the best after tennis.

actually i remember thinking it wasn't working well very early on, but now i think it's just the way i was doing it, like sometimes a punch just wouldn't register so i left that sport alone (i had got to about 500) and did the others, but when i went back to it nad forced myself to try get better something eventually started to work and now it registers nearly all of my movements really well (it's just rare i can get one of those swinging punches that hits the opponent in the side to work...but i can do the swinging uppercuts and such)

boxing is the only one other than tennis i have managed to get to 2000 on the skill graph thing, golf is fun to play but it's rare i can get the 7 under par i need to advance more than 1800ish, so i keep going up and down.....baseball is just impossible (haven't got over 1200 yet) and bowling is hard once your a pro, i think i managed 1300 but i keep going down whenever i play multiplayer.

Tennis is incredibly easy, and i am over 2300 with it, but i don't think it will advance much anymore because you only get about 5 points even if you win every point in a best of 5.

And if Wii sports 2 had exactly the same 5 sports in then no they wouldn't need to continue selling No1

Bumped to see if anyone notices.

if GTA:LCS can't reach 5 million on the PSP when it was bought by every single pirater for years as being the only way to hack the firmware on the PSP, As well as being the first PSP version of the best selling PS2 game (which still hasn't cracked the top 10) then no game on the PSP will do it.

Nintendogs is now at number 10 with 15.41 million.

Wii Sports is next (3.38 million away...which should be achieved before Christmas)
Whether Nintendogs can pass The Sims before then (thus staying in the top 10) i am not sure.

bah!, i thought at least one person might be interested.

I can see Starcraft 2 being the highest seller of 2008

My efforts to revive this thread continue in light of both Wii Sports and Nintendogs being in the top ten purchased software list.
I will post the table of top 25 from the million sellers (the top 25 happen to be the only games over 10 million)
and highlight any from this generation.

I am guessing that this will cut off the totals column.. which is highly irritating but i cannot figure out how to edit the table... so i give this link: http://vgchartz.com/worldtotals.php

That's some DS domination!
