How is PSP God of War going to sell 10 million when PS2 God of War barely sold over 3 million? God of War 2 is only at 1.8 million. So the PSP version is going to sell over triple the PS2 version with 1/4 the user base?

I remember I got nintendogs because of its graphics. The game was complete $hit. Hopefully my dog is dead. I havent fed him for 2 years.

I expect GTA 4 to sell 10 million+

I do also expect MGS4 to sell 5 million+

And expect killzone 2(if it delievers) to sell 5 million+

I really see no point for Nintendo to release a Wii Sports 2. There will be plenty of games like Mario&Sonic, EA Playground and Deca Sports serving the people who loved Wii Sports and want more games of that type. Instead, Nintendo should focus on inventing radically new games like Wii Fit.

@Erik, that's probably why Nintendo have no plans to release it, though i would definately buy it if they did.

Leo-j and SNESboy, you both bought Nintendogs for the graphics, and then hated the game...??? If you buy games just for graphics, even if the gameplay doesn't interest you, then you get what you deserve.

hate to say it but i think there is no chance.  Particularly god of war and FF tactics have zero chance, while CC:FF has a very very small chance.

PSP games wont go up there ... as much as this hurts me to say ... that doesnt means that there could be no good sellers ... actually , I dont think that the future holds many games that will have the chance to break those numbers ... why , because there are many gamers and much more games . And Wii SPorts isnt the best example , because its bundled in with the console . If the PS2 would have had a game bundled in with it , than we would have now a 100 million + selling game :P

Well i agree hunter it is bundled, which obviously inflates it's sales (something i suppose i shall call 'force bundled' where you have to get it, like Motorsports with the 80G, but there are lots of non-force bundles that also inflate sales, just not as much...singstar in Eu is probably responsible for 1/2 of the past years PS2 bundles (i do wonder why it is not on the million sellers list, maybe because there are about 40 different singstar games))

That is not the point though, for one thing Wii sports will not be 'force' bundled forever, (and isn't in Japan but still sells to more than half of owners) and any game bundled with the PS2 wouldn't have been bundled for it's life.
Secondly i think it is part of the reason the Wii is selling so well, Wii sports is a brilliant game.
And thirdly i am just basing this whole thing on the worldwide software list we have on this site, i am not considering bundles or games with incentives (wii play) so it is truly just the top ten list for software.

So i still believe we will have 4 new games in the top ten when this generation ends, Wii sports definately included.
