I've never tried any Soul Calibur games before, how good is this game? is it overrated? is it balanced? hard to master? hows the online community? Should i bite for $15. Any impressions should be welcomed.

Yes for $15, its a great fighter. The online pisses me off, once someone gets the first hit they automatically win, i hate fighters online.

It's alright. For 15 dollars? I would pick it up. The Character customization is the real appeal of the game for me, although SC3 did it better. It's still fun to play.

I got it for $10. Nope. The story mode for each person is 5 fights... That's it. And most of the people I played as went through the same stages.

It's a good game. I payed 65 dollars for it, and I regret it because I played it for 3 hours and never played it again. But that's because I seriously suck at fighting games unless it's WWE games. But 15 dollars is a great deal. The graphics are amazing.

I guess you missed out. BB had a clearance sale with SCIV for ps3 and 360 back on april 26 for $10 that's right ten dollars.

Soul calibur 4 isnt good for me.I consider the series at its peak at soul calibur 1(for the dreamcast) and 2.For me,the choppy and unrealistic animations killed it.Also the feel was very anime-ish, unlike the 1st two.

yeah i know, i missed out, my BB only had shitty games. but still  15 is a great deal for SCIV
