this is what Evan Wells recently twitted:

"We're doing a playtest of the entire game of Uncharted 2 this weekend to begin our difficulty tuning. It's a very delicate process."

Good too see them already doing this, with the main game content complete and looking amazing, I have seen a September release by a few places, so I hope that is a realistic date, especially with another multiplayer demo coming later this summer

I cannot get my hands on this game soon enough! It is going to be up there with the best games on the current gen consoles!

Hard in U1 was a damn pain in the ass at some points. But it didnt ruin the experience.

September release date gets it out of Modern Warfare 2s sights.

Good move if they can get it out that early.

My local Movie Gallery store has it releasing on Oct 1st/09. Between this and Demon's Souls my wallet is gonna be very light early on in the season.
