Often a game doesn't sell because, get ready for it - it isn't that good. LBP was a Sony attempt to have their own new "sonic" or "mario" character. Do you know what LBP is praised for? It's level editor. Not the game, but the editor. If I want to build levels, I'll boot up GTK Radiant or 3D Max, I'm not going to buy as game for its editing capabilities. My point is, in relation to the topic, that saying that SMB4 is a take on LBP would be lik saying that a band like Metallica gets all its inspiration from a local, underground coverband.

And admit it, if LBP was on the Wii in its current form with Mario as Sackboy, and it was called "Super Mario Planet" it would have sold at least triple what it will sell now. Yes, quality sometimes sells, but it's by no means the largest factor. It's actually one of the smallest.

Well, a game won't sell over 10 million if it's not good. Yes, wii fit is a very good game for what it does. So, it deserves it sales. People just buy wii play for the controller, so doesn't really count, but if you want to count it in, go ahead.

Actually, LBP is a ripoff of NSMB DS, Home is a ripoff of AC: Wild World, and the Classic Controller looks more like an SNES controller than a Dualshock (and even if it was copying I would consider the Classic Controller better than the Dualshock anyway, I have little hands).
