Forums - Gaming Discussion - What is your longest played online game.

For me i'd have to say its Team Fortress Classic.  I have been playing that game since 99 and I still play to this day.  It's one of those games I could never stop playing.  I had breaks here and there but I always came back.  Now im not to much of a fan of TF2 imo it doesn't have the feel of tfc but I have migrated over to Fortress Forever.  FF is a pretty good game but even that still doesnt have the feel that tfc has.

I remember playing at some great servers.  Pete's Avanti/Dustbowl, One Eyed Rocket To Uranis, GirlPower, and GirlPower 2.  I took a ton of pictures of TFC through the years of playing it here are a few.

Probably Age of Mythology. I played custom maps on that game for years. After that it's either BFMEII, Supreme Commander, or CS:Source.

Diablo. That games was so badass, even with the hackers. The single player is what made the game legendary. Probably my favorite game ever.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

EQ is easily the longest played for me...I hesitate to say how long I played the game =P

To be honest I don't know how long I actually played the game since I took 2 or 3 breaks for at least a few months but my account was over 7 years old when I quit.

The only reason I know is because I had the silly Veteran AA rewards thing, some of them were pretty useful. But the last one I remember using was throne of heroes which teleports you to the throne room of the guild hall. By now I would probably be eligible for at least one more Vet AA but not sure, I canceled my account so no way to check.

When I quite I actually had 3 accounts, 2 of them inherited from friends who had stopped playing. And on the accounts I had 70 (max for the time) War, Shm, Enc, Cle, 68 Rng, Rog, and a bunch of twinks all above level 55 wiz, nec, bst, pal, dru etc....

To put it mildly I played that game way to much and I am glad I kicked my evercrack habit.

To Each Man, Responsibility

Warcraft 3.. I still play it off and on

I played counter-strke for years. The clan I was in consistently placed top 10 and top 5 at cpl, and we won cal-invite multiple times, but I havent played that game since highschool now, oh well.

Currently Playing:

PS4 - Killzone:SF and Assasins Creed 4

XBox One: BF4, CoD:Ghosts, Dead Rising 3, Forza 5

Changing channels with my voice: priceless!!!

Mine would be AoE3, played over 1000 games.

Dark Age of Camelot. Best end game conceivable for an MMORPG.

Before that it was Tribes 2. It's like Team Fortress, but with jet packs, vehicles and a roll your own class setup.
