That being said, even if it had gotten 300k sales first week, some people would come in and call it a flop, comparing it to Halo and Killzone 2. People are going to again call it a flop, or say sales are terrible when it launches in Europe (no matter what the actual sales are), and again when weekly sales fall to below 10k/week. |
Funny enough that's how much KZ2 sold at launch in the US.

Oh, wow, you're right. KZ2 "only" sold 360k first week US. For some reason I was under the impression that it sold about 750k US first week. That was actually the worldwide total. :-/
I'm curious as to how Christmas will boost both their sales. Both are the premier exclusive online FPS for their console, so I imagine they'll make it into a number of stockings. KZ2 (and possibly Conduit too) will be overshadowed by MW2, but they should still be on several people's wishlists, especially if they get dropped to budget prices.
