Anyone who downloads something like this kinda deserves to have their DS bricked. Not because i'm against piracy, but just for general idiocy.

I figure they don't matter anyways since they aren't gamers anyways.

And here we see a mod showing VGC users the importance of staying on topic.

Psh, it's the internet and a forum, things will go off topic.  As long it's not trolling/flaming/spam off topic and somewhat related to something, I don't care too much.

I wish more studios would spread malware versions of their game on pirate sites before release.

I would love it if pirates got the their 360's and DS's bricked and PC users getting their system wiped due to them being greedy fucks.

That's so wrong on so many levels.

Give anyone power and they are bound to abuse it.

Didn't SE do something like this officially with Crisis Core? I recall them leaking a copy of the game that would stop around twenty minutes in and say that if you liked what you played, you should buy the game.

This is very interesting idea, i like it. :D

Hey someone just found a way to kill piracy. If companies spam this all over the internet piracy would be very much reduced.

That would be hella illegal. However, companies don't actually need to release a fake version. They just need to spread the rumour that there is such a version, and people will be too paranoid to download any version.

well, if they did that, then they didn't brick the system. If companies really wanted to do this, they would be best off (on PC) making it so it connects to the internet and reports them. While I agree with twesterm that it would be great, I don't think any company would be stupid enough to do it. With our legal system there is a good chance they get sued even though the copy was illegal in the first place, however both sides breaking laws doesn't make things right.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Should I report this post for the insulting language you're using or are you gonna ban yourself?

about the way the tread is turning, I recall an other one a while back with the exact same discussion.... wiping hard drives and all.... and the point of it was that there are people who are borderline anti-piracy fanatics on this site that don't have a clear vision of what is right and wrong, to the point that they'd take actions that are much more blamable than those of the pirates just to hurt them...

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

Can't people pirate stuff to try it out? I mean, I know it's illegal but I think it's going a little far to want their ds destroyed.
