Forums - Sales Discussion - All new manufactured Wii shipped to Europe ?

As you know Wii sells are slowing down in japan since 2 or 3 weeks (about 50K a week). And according itracker.com, the national avaibility of Wii in USA is near of one pour cent, since few days.... Do you think it's possible than Nintendo decides to shipped to Europe a great part of new manufactured Wii, in order to sells more Wii before the PS3 release ? So maybe the officialy charts of march will be very desappointed for Wii (only 150 or 200 K) ?

I don't think they're going to give Europe any more priority than N.A. or Japan. Sales aren't slowing down that much, and national availability is still minimal.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Why? Do you know how costly the ps3 is? I don't think shipping new wiis there will matter much, the people who want a PS3 will buy one no matter how many wiis are around. It maybe a little late for that now anyway as the PS3 comes out there this friday I think. As for march sales? I can only hope they are that low, but my guess is 300 to 350k, in that range and will not drop below until june.

I live in Finland and there was a lot of Wiis in a local store. They had made extra room for them. Before that there have been only two occasions I've seen Wiis in a store.

I don´t think they are shipping more Wii´s to europe. Probably there is just not that high demand any more.

and what about stores in N/A ? Those who lives in US could tell us more... I mean, few weeks ago itrackers.com said Wii national avaibility was about 13 or 15 per cent... instead of only ONE per cent since few days.. Or maybe itrackers.com data are... wrong ???

still can't find any wii in france either....

On Amazon France in the most popular section for video games, the Wii is number 2 with a shipping date between 1 to 2 mounth. The PS3 is number 6 and still available for pre-order. Link

Then why does itracker say that the availability of the PS3 is 93% and the WII only 1% in the United States, huh?! @Fabinou because Sony Fanboys like to yap about how bad the WII is and are blind to see how well it sells, that you haven't noticed it by now
