Forums - General Discussion - Movies of 2009

Just wondering what movies you guys have seen and enjoyed so far this year. I know I will properly get a lot of stick for this but i really enjoyed Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. I was most disappointed in Night in a muesum.

Plus are there any movies that your looking forward to coming out his year. I am personaly looking forward to Bruno.

Moon is probably my favorite film this year with Up coming in at second. The Hurt Locker is a film I want to see very soon as well.

The latter part of the year also has a good deal of films that look to be quality. Including Nine , The Road , The Informant , The White Ribbon.

ive only seen Star Trek so far this year, and that was super, only other film im thinking of seeing at the moment is the new Harry Potter, other than that, nothing much catches my eye, im not much of a film buff though.

Couldn't count how many films I've seen this year but the standouts have been the following.

Gran Torino, Star Trek, Mary and Max and Samson and Delilah.

I'm looking forward to HP and Bruno which I'm seeing over the next two days. I go to the cinemas very very often.

Star Trek and Gran Torino were the best movies this year

The movies I've seen this year are:

Marley and Me (acceptable family entertainment)

Watchmen (spectacular)

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (didn't enjoy it that much)

Star Trek (Great film, first Star Trek movie I ever saw too)

Terminator: Salvation (boring and wooden acting)

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen (average, amazing action but so-so story)

Oh yeah, watchman was great! I don't care what people think about it, I loved it.

Gran Torino, Up, and a few nights ago I went to see The Hangover. Funny as hell.

I'm looking forward to where the wild things are. Can't wait for that.
