Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Will Epic make a game for the Wii?

I find it silly that people think you can't make money on the Wii unless you sell yourself to Nintendo.

Does being owned by Nintendo suddenly make your games better?

It makes you better if Shigeru stops by and tellls you you're doing it all wrong...case in point...Retro.

I am prettty sure  SMG woul be a better game but I think the most realistic visuals one will be Kameo.

Excuse me but a fantasy game like Kameo looking realistic? No no no people, we got the wrong ideas here...

I know someone would say that.  I don't know how to explain it if I say the visuals look better I am sure Naznatips will jump in and say that he prefers the looks of SMG.

Depends on what you are talking about. If we are talking from a technical perspective, then sure Kameo has the advantage in polygon count. If we are talking about art style then yeah I prefer SMG. Video game art is very debatable and it's best not to go into that. SMG is a very good looking game though and certainly sets a high bar for development effort, detail, and polish across any platform.

Techical perspective of course ^__^''.

I can't believe Kameo (game) is already two years old, It feels like yesterday when I bought that game

Thats something you say when you never played a decent looking game on the Wii. Gears and UT3 have fantastic visuals. You wish that the Wii could produce half of that. After all, it is a Gamecube 1.5.

As far as im concerned, if games such as Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3 were in 720p, they wouldnt look out of place on a 360.

I absolutely disagree. I used to play my PS3 (that looks pretty much like the 360) on a SDTV, i've also played the wii on the same TV (i do not own one but a friend of mine brought his), now... both consoles were running at 480i and you could easily say which ones were PS3 games.

Even if MP3 was designed to run at 720p we would have noticed the same differences we noticed at 480i.

I bet that if Midway's Cruisin' had 1080p it'd definitely stand up to any PS3/Xbox360 game!

"Unless you sell yourself to Nintendo you're going for scraps on that platform [the Wii]"

Correction-> "Unless you put some effort into the game you are developing on that platform and it's not some crappy port or a rushed, low budget title, you're gonna make some money"

Meh, I say who care's? They have made what 2 or 3 good games? I'll take Ubisoft over them any day.

^^ Ubisoft??? Really???

Yep, much better ip's and fully backs the Wii.
