I actually whole heartedly agree. This is the Nintendo board for crying out loud. People should be happy to see great games coming to the Wii not talking about how they want to see them on the PS3/360. We all know the Wii has lacked any solid titles for quite some time, its about time we start to see titles from the likes of MonsterHunter and Tales. Sure I love my 360 and loath my PS3 but seeing Nintendo titles on either platform just ruins it for me.
I can't wait to see what franchise all the Sony fanboys see come exclusively to Wii next. Lets just face the facts Sony fanboys you bet on the wrong horse, if you want the great titles on the Wii you should have bought a Wii. If you backed the PS3 thats your bad!

Not even that, the 360 and PS3 already have 90% of the AAA franchises this generation and the HD gamers still want more?
I hate to break it to everyone but when Nintendo comes out with their next console with graphics on par with the competition there'll be no reason for them to be spared multiplatform titles or a chance and becoming the fable single console solution for that generation.
Let's just hope 3rd party developers learn how to make original and creative games again by that point and the industry isn't going bankrupt while playing follow the leader game of "everyone make their own FPS, sandbox superhero adventure, devil may cry/god of war clone, destructable environment shooter, etc".
The only good thing about games being so damn expensive is that may be more incentive for Nintendo's next console to get ports of all the great games the Wii missed this generation, but I won't hold my breath, that's for sure. I'll just be satisfied with a fixed version of RE5. Though to be fair I think a higher priority should be hoping Capcom survives long enough to port the damn game with the way everyone in the industry seems to be trying to hide the fact they're going broke.

imo it had the perfect controls for switching from first person to third person , i think only hitman did that sort of thing in these types of games
RE4 got bad mouthed?
"Game Informer gave both editions of Resident Evil 4 a perfect score, and along ranking number one on their list of "Best GameCube Games of All Time" they named it their 2005 Game of the Year.[26] It tied with Kingdom Hearts II as Famitsu's Game of the Year 2005."
its just that you dont know capcom , once it doesnt make much money they port it, and RE4 is such an overrated game IMO , though i own both the Gamecube and Ps2 version , and the Gamecube version is complete, thought the ps2 version was a joke compared. |
RE4 was laregely attacked by the gaming community before its PS2 port. Reviewers had little bad to say about it.
As for MGS4... I certainly don't think the controls are terrible, but hardly what I would call quality AAA or polished. The point was it was a trivial matter much like that of Monster Hunter 3's controls. And while you're entitled to the claim the controls are just fine forgive me for not being a bit suspicious of the assessment of a Metal Gear Solid game by someone with a Fox hound avatar. Nothing personal, I'm just' sayin'.
Also, claiming to be a #1 Final Fantasy fan (in your signiture) in this day & age after the debateable downward spiral that has followed the Square-Enix merger doesn't help your case here. Hey, we all have our guilty pleasures when it comes to gaming, but Final Fantasy and Square-Enix in general doesn't get most gamers excited anymore for a reason.
Sorry about this nitpicky tangent and by all means, keep loving the games you love no matter what anyone else says, just don't expect more discerning or critical individuals to turn a blind eye to some obvious warning signs.
