I never liked thepiratebay mentality. They are too rude (but funny) and think they are superior or something. Their torrent site was pretty useless to me, I always found better torrents of old games and anime on other torrent sites. Not to say, they pretty much never had what I was looking for. I think thepiratebay has always been nothing more than a site to propagate ideals and reached a cult status among like-minded people.
Good. Pirates should die at sea or just get fined 2x the amount of $ they stole. I really don't like pirating anything.
Well after it was shut down there wasnt much hope for it to resurface. Once people have to pay for something they wont do it no matter how much they liked the site. I dont see why companies buy the sites after theyre shut down
I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!

Never been to pirate bay cause i don't pirate... so i don't really care other then the triviality of the story.
Guess they're paying for the hits and hoping enough people stick around to make it worth it.

You should recheck the rules. Luckily no one paid attention to what Starcraft proposed, and we're freely allowed to talk about it as long as you don't post links to copywrited things or programs to help piracy

I do not see Movie studios or Music studios going ou tof business(though to be fair i don't pay attention to that stuff). And it seems we lose a ne studio each week

Thats because the music and movie industries are a lot older. At their youth movie and music studios collapsed just as often.
