It's old news, but still nothing has been announced about this game besides the fact that it's going to exist.

 (If you missed it...)

So, ideally, what would you want this MMORPG to be? A KOTOR MMORPG? Mass Effect spinoff? All new Bioware Universe?

Personally, I think a Baldur's Gate MMORPG would be completely incredible.

blaydcor - dude you almost game me a heart attack!

Yeah I think a Baldur's Gate MMORPG would be very cool.  I'm really sick of the World of warcraft game now... Played it for a while... got my wife really pissed off at me so I stopped... all my friends play it now and talk about nothing else... it's driving me nuts.

It's me...  no really, it IS me!!!

Friends always talking about WoW gets really old, really fast

Would they be allowed to do a baldurs gate MMO?

I'm not sure how far their license for the Forgotten Realms extends, hey thats an idea, why not a complete Forgotten Realms MMORPG?

I hope it's KOTOR. Not sure I'm willing to try another MMO though after WoW sucked my life away.

Sonic the RPG is a Bioware project, it could just be that.

It's a KOTOR MMORPG if the US Official Xbox Magazine's rumor for the game is true.

Due to licensing issues and Bioware's growing trend of moving away from existing franchises, I'm expecting it to be a Bioware creation top to bottom.

If it was Star Wars/KotoR-based I would be very surprised.

And another Western RPG developer falls to the MMO business model. The single-player Western RPG is a dying breed already. :(

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

Bioware isn't a small company, they won't stop making the kinds of games that have made them successful just because they're doing a MMO (hence why they have many development teams).  I don't know if you noticed but they're opening a new studio just for this.
