My making complaint about the video is that they didn't show you the nuance of melee combat (parrying, two hand attacks, etc.). The fact that the main character is way overpowered didn't help. When I beat this level, it was still taking me 2-3 hits to kill basic enemies.

The game shines in its brutality.  This walkthrough made all but the boss fight look easy.

No it doesnt dude the game looks slow and boring.

I suggest you talk that out with the ones who played this game for hours on end, like makingmusic, ameratsu, or outlawauron... each and every one was very impressed.

From streams, I liked it a lot. I also heard its a very hard game, so it'd be interesting to have that for a change.

This isn't really a JRPG.  It's an RPG made in Japan, yes, but it's really quite unlike anything else.  It shares many similarities with WRPGs, but it stands on its own in many areas as well.


its a RPG made in Japan..JRPG, regardless of if its influences, but anyways..I cant wait for this game, so far away though

MM, there's a much better (I think it looked better anyway) video on gametrailers right now, involving a walkthrough of the beginning of 4-1. Just up to that huge guy. You should put that in the OP.

 

Mainly better because the character isn't totally overpowered.
