Forums - Gaming Discussion - sonic unleashed 2?

Before I get flamed by SEGA fans.. no they havent announced it yet, but the title(Sonic Unleashed) has sold around 2.25m copies on all platforms(PS360WIIPS2), and I enjoyed the game on the 360( barring the medal thing and werehog thing ofcourse) so yea..

heres a old story from1up stating that the title may see a sequel:

Would be good to see SEGA work on this, probably the most promising of all 3D sonic titles in the last few years. Any wishlists? Mine would be.. tweak the framerate, graphics engine is phenomenal, minimise werehog and remove the whole medal concept. Also add in knuckles this time...

Your wishlists?

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

5 THINGS I'd like to see before i knock out:

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

Sonics levels were fantastic.

How about a sonic game that ditches silly werehog/treasure hunting/mech robots/big cat ect missions and just focuses on sonic.

If the game is only half the length due to only having sonic missions then simply sell it at retail for a cheaper price.

Awesome sonic game with sonic only levels thats half the length but also half the price

or

Full length game that has awesome sonic levels but also some pointless sideshow gimmick?

I choose the former.

I thought sonic xtreme on the saturn looked very very promising.. if they could blend that into the "hedgehog" engine it would be awesome.

Sonic, knuckles, tails and eggman.. thats the combo that usually works best..

i'd buy it if they had more of the daytime stages. those were awesome.

I want A Sonic game like in the DC.

I want to play as Tails.

yeap, me too!

if they are really going to make Sonic Unleashed 2, they need to make night levels beeeeetter!

i've played it on Wii, and some of them were REALLY frustrating, but still it was a "good" game

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

Resurrect the Sonic Adventure style of multiple, divergent player character storylines, but take out overworlds. Keep the day-night mechanic, and add back in Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Shadow, Rouge, etc., as playables.

Make the medal system for the day stages based on score, not time (but have time contribute to score), and make the damn Wii version on par with the PS360 versions. That's where your big sales are going to come from, so at least make it equal... (sans DLC, for the obvious purposes)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

no more werehog. that is all.

I liked unleashed very much. Finished it on 360...even bought some DLC level stuff.

They need to build on that platform and improve in every way posssible.

Ditch the warehog but keep the open world levels.

I like the pre-level rooms...but they need to make those like tomb raider levels. I want to solve puzzles and work hard for finding my sonic levels...this should be the platforming aspect of the game...and sonic levels should be sheer speed.

Tweek the music and bring back some fo the classic tunes maybe?

Lets hope there is a sequel...

Yeah.

That was their Super Mario 64 moment.

They got it just right but then had to change things. The only thing stopping me getting this one is the werewolf and talking parts of the game.
