Day 1 on 360. Its already the rpg console with LO, ToV, SO, etc.

Because everything I read, says that there will not be any changes apart of number of discs.

lets not forget that anyone who had a playstation 2 who is familiar or played anyone of the FF series on it like FF9-FF12 ETC by now likely has a 360 who will most likely go out and get the 360 version unless the ps3 version proves to be the better one, i think people have to understand the fact that 360 has a near 10 million console difference advantage and as people were saying not one ps3 jrpg break the half million mark, i mean if you like rpg you would probably go out and buy one by now not wait all these years for ff13 but i'm sure some people do, anyway forza 3 vs gt5 and ff13 vs ff13 ps3 version will be a very interesting follow up to see what exactly happens.

I agree.  should sell at least 25% more copies on the ps3.  Although in NA I predict the 360 version will sell the most.

No I'm saying PS3 will outsell it by a large margin in ALL Regions. 


that won't happen.  there is too big of an install base difference in NA.  Look at devil may cry 4, a former sony exclusive that sold more on the ps3 in every territory except NA.  The only multiplat games that have sold more on the ps3 in NA are very obscure niche games. 

Final Fantasy is not obscure, and with the 360 having quite a big advantage in RPG's, I don't see how the ps3 base could buy more than the 360.  I agree that worldwide it will sell more (mostly because of Japan), I just don't see it happening in NA.

You should also look how the genre of said game has done on the 360. EVERY JRPG has done horribly on the Xbox 360 except for Lost Odyssey which has yet to crack a mill and has been out since 07. Yes Final Fantasy is big but I would say that JRPGs would do better on the PS3 because the 360 hasnt been very accepting of the genre. WRPGs are another story though

do you have an example of a JRPG doing well in NA on the ps3 to prove your point?

There is one: Valkyria Chronicles. It has sold near Half a Million in PS3. And Remember this is a Srpg, even more niche than non-KH-FF JRPG.
