Really? Sony has been makeing PS3's for 6 months? Because they were produceing right at 1million/month in November. November, december, january, febuary, march. Add 2 months. (becuase were not counting march) Sony was pumping out PS3's in October? Sony would have had a worldwide launch with over 2 million on LAUNCH day. Not, 2million right before Dec 31 EDIT: Sony seriously started makeing them 3or 4 weeks before launch.

From what I know Sony started final assembly about 4 weeks before launch ... Many of their low yeild components (at the time; Cell/Blu-Ray) were being built for a couple of months in order to have enough to launch the system

I really need to finish My PS2 games so I can hop on Zelda. I finally purchased component cables for the wii so I am even more inspired to start the epic journey.
