if that's 325k in 2 days after launch... which I don't see how it could be anything BUT launch. that is low. PS3 will be near 1million. Dont see why your braggin.

Um ... The PS3 hasn't sold a million units in Japan yet and I'm not too sure that Europe will get more than 500,000 units at launch ... Expect disapointment if you actually believe that the PS3 will sell a million units in Europe

Sony has stated that Europe will get 1 million units in the launch "Window". I'm not sure if they've clarified how large that window is though.

Well ... When companies talk about "Launch Window Games" it usually means games released within 6 weeks to 3 months ... The way I see it Sony will attempt to get the most press out of the European launch as they can. They will need to say they have the largest single day revinues (the price of the PS3 makes this a lock), they will need to sell out, and they will want it to be the largest number of units sold at launch ever; I would expect Sony to release the lowest number where they can (successfully) make these claims.

Sony will probably set some new launch records, but what do those really mean. Even the Gamecube set launch records in the UK. Launch records are a testament to growing populations and increasing efficiency in production, logistics and retail. This is not particular to either Sony, Nintendo or MS, not even to the videogame industry at all. Our times are a shopper's paradise. No launch day sales can convince me of the success of any one system.

@ kwaad: Ofcourse PS3 is going to sell more at launch in Europe then Wii did. Sony had 6 months to make enough PS3's..., so i sure hope they do or else they REALLY SUCK!... Btw..., 325.000k in 2 days for a worldwide launch... Only in Europe 325.000k is pretty good i guess :D...
