Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Tiger Woods 10 to get promoted by Tiger Woods?!

This can´t be bad for the game can it? Promotion from Tiger Woods himself?

Tiger Woods to appear on Jimmy Fallon late night show accepting challenge from the host in a playoff in Tiger Woods 10 for WII.

Tiger is advertising his own game! I saw commercials for it while at the gym as well.Onlythe Wii version was given attention. Tiger was using it to golf.

Of course it is. It´s the only version that is supposed to play like golf

That'll be fairly epic. Too bad its not as widely watched.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Last year's version was advertised by Tiger as well, at least in the UK, on TV ads...

I would certainly hope the namesake would advertise his own game. + he's the highest paid athlete in America. He's got pull

Good. Go Tiger!

Falon plays games on the Wii? If that is true, Shai doesn't consider him a "real" gamer. Mr. Falon, you have been put down by Shai!

seen a couple commercials as well. not bad

Its a good idea. Why? Because Natal was shown last week. Punch Out and Tiger bookends Natal into a corner and im sure Tiger using the Wii says alot more than Natal ever could.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
