Probably. As of right now, all I have to go by is what the developers say, since they didn't specifically state the platform it was running on.

What? Are you speculating that the demo they ran at E3 was running on a PC and not on an X360?

BlueRay will become main stream sooner or later. I doubt most of you will remember the battle between VHS and DVD. It wasn't until the DVD player became cheap when DVD took off. http://www.tomshardware.com/news/bluray-player-cost-production-movies,8109.html Also, what does it matter if the PS3 never outsells the 360. They are still selling consoles, people are still buying games, Sony is still making money. By your logic the 360 should never have existed since the PS2 destroyed the original Xbox, so MS should just have gotten out of the business. As a videogame fan you should care that all companies compete and drive each other to progress the market. However, since this is the obvious answer and your thread is nothing more than a soap box for you to write a long condescending thread full of nothing but bullet points trying to trash Sony and regurgitating nothing more than hashed out "our side vs theirs" rhetoric.....damn i fell for it :(

Well, this is fantastic. A blatant trolling thread by a user with a couple posts and it's not even locked. Seriously, why is this thread open? It contained everything from "George Foreman Grill" to every other PS3 insult imaginable. If this doesn't get locked, I'm going to lose a lot of faith in this site's moderating. I'm sorry, but that's how I see it.

I think if the Wii was released at $600 (it hasn't STAYED at $600 so stop making it, the ps3 has made all its sales at that price point) then yeah I think the Wii would be well above 21 million.

History doesn't seem to think so. Nintendo's last console, and at a much cheaper pricepoint than $600, was not able to sell 25 million LTD. If Wii's introductory price was $600 it would be nowhere near where it is now.

Ugh except the Wii isn't the Gamecube is it ...
