Exactly. HD fans are missing the point. He can like whatever he likes but just because he is a hollywood super star doesn't give him the right to insult 50 million users. Maybe he was trying to be funny or I dunno but any celebrity should have careful to what it says to his fans.

Put simply: if he said the same about the xbox360 or the PS3 those gamers would feel insulted too and with very good reason.

Is not about the message is about how he said it. that's all.

Then why in god's name would you bring it up here, where he is being a total douchebag and deserves the hate? Well, in my opinion anyway, because what he said was unbelievable rude and mean. Shouldn't feedback towards innocent comments be in threads about the innocent comments?

That's not true. That's common in any videogame forum. You must understand that it was the way the dude said it. He has to be more respectful to his audience. If he said the exact same about teh xbox you would be upset too.

I thought his comments were funny, and some of you take this stuff way too seriously. I mean come on he insulted the wii, not your mother. Take it easy with the personal insults.
