I find it a bit strange...
Sequel to one of the most significant releases of this generation, 96% on Metacritic, 2007 Game of the Year...

But no one cares?

It was at E3, but I didn't see any coverage from any of the major sites. No awards, or even recognition.

Does it have something to do with it being multiplat now? Are fanboys too busy having screenshot wars over Forza and Gran Turismo?

And yeah, partly because it's multiplat. Partly because it doesn't seem to be shaking up the formula much.

I'm hyped

I thought the first game was way over rated.

Well, it seems like it's mostly exclusive games that get the hype over the internet. Look at lost planet, there tons of thread about, but the minute it was confirmed for PS3, the hype stopped.

I agree to an extend, but it was definitely not GTA IV-like overrated.

I still think it's a wonderful game and I'm looking forward to play the sequel.

Number 2 doesn't seem to have anything new to offer...

The original was all about the setting and the story, but "2" seems to be about being a big "bad ass" Daddy and an added multiplayer feature.

I agree... when i finally played the first one... i was only impressed by the first 10 minutes of gameplay...
