Forums - Gaming Discussion - The proud owner of Ghostbusters: The Video game...

for PC!

Yeah, that's right, I've got no multiplayer but I could give a rat's ass.  I'm enjoying a great game that brings back years and years of my youth.  Although I am wondering how they got the Statue of Liberty back where it belongs (probably the same way that they used to move it).

Anyway.  I have to say that hearing these guys again after two movies that made my youth what it was, I am simply blown away.  Even as "the new guy" I have no problem listening to the great 4 banter back and fourth.  The best about all of it is that I somehow get to relive each movie while still creating a new experience within the Ghostbuster universe.

I'm busting ghosts, running at high framerates and getting slimed on a regular basis.  There is nothing better than being able to trap your own ghost after spending years of your childhood doing the same thing with all of the available toys.

Hey, I know there are a lot of Ghostbuster threads here but lets make sure to give a round of applause to a great game, made possible by the great minds behind the original Ghostbusters.

"Are you, Alice, currently menstrating right now?"

"What's that got to do with anything?"

"Back off man, I'm a scientist."

Around the Network

just 1 question. Are you facing the same 2-3 minutes loading as i am? =(

Also, Atari is really stupid to not include other languages on ghostbusters. I absolutely hate having the dutch language on a game.

Well, some of the load times are longer than I would like, but they are not that long (15 to 30 seconds tops, though I haven't really counted). About the languages, I'm a USA guy 100%, so I don't have to worry about any of that, but I will say that I'm sorry that you got screwed out of the language that you were hopping for.
