Wii Sports maybe the best selling game of all time, but, you got to remember that the game is bundled with every Wii console. I personally think the game would probably sell 20 million copies WW at this point. The game sell pretty well if it wasn't bundled, but not as much if its bundled. What are your thoughts on this?

Anyways, if it wasn't bundled it would probably be selling between 40-50% attach rate to the console so somewhere between 20-25m copies sold to date.

Just look at how much it sells in territories where it isn't bundled (Japan, Korea) and you'll have your answer.

Considering Wii Fit has already sold 20 million copies, i think Wii sports would have sold 30-35 million by now.

How could it sell as much if it wasn't bundled? Probably the dumbest thread title I have ever seen on VGChartz.

As for the real question you want to ask - which is how much would it have sold if it wasn't bundled I would guess about 25 million by now.

i agree it would not have sold as much as it has now but if wii sports wasn't bundled then the wii could have been £10-15 cheaper and wii sports could have sold for the same amount so people would have probably bought it anyway. i've not got time to check on the figures but how much does wii sports sell for as a standalone game?

^^^ Wii Sports goes for about $20 used.

It's also $20 new - had to get a replacement copy from Nintendo.
